Feeding

The Department of Agriculture requires that personal food to be in a sealed container.

We are more than happy to feed your pet breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Does your pet eat at a special time? No problem! We accommodate different feeding times based on your pet's personal needs. Never hesitate to tell our staff special feeding instructions for your pet. We want to do everything in our power to get your dog the nutrients they need to be happy and healthy.

Our house food is available for $2.50 per meal. If you prefer giving your pet our food, we have a variety of options that they will love! Bergen Bark Inn offers Purina EN, a gastro sensitive food, at no additional charge. We also offer limited ingredient, high protein, grain free Natural Balance in both chicken and fish flavors to accommodate allergies. Please let our office staff know if your pet has any allergies or food preferences. We want all our furry friends to be well fed (and spoiled)!

Medication

The Department of Agriculture requires we only give medications in original prescription bottles with original vet prescription. If the instructions have changed from what the bottle reads you must have a veterinarian reprint the new label.

We cannot accept or administer any medications not in the original pill bottle.

We normally medicate all of our furry guests during our normal feeding times. If you pet has additional medications needs, please let our office staff know and we will do the best we can to accommodate all special medication instructions. You will not have to worry about your pet's medical needs while they are with us!

Bedding, Toys & Treats

You are welcome to bring any of these to help make your fur-babies' time with us feel more like home. We often suggest bringing something that smells like home, such as a t-shirt, pillow case, or towel to help our furry friends her feel more comfortable. We advise caution with bringing any special items that may get lost or damaged during their stay. Dogs may decide to chew up things because they miss you so much. We have bedding and toys of our own that we are more than happy to provide to all of our guests. The choice is up to you. Whatever you think will make your dog the most comfortable is what we want to do.

Extra Services

Please let us spoil your fur babies rotten while you are away. We offer extra services such as Meadow Walks, Yappy Hours, Pupsicles, baths, nail trims, bully sticks, dental treats. Talk to our office staff and we can schedule any extra services to make sure your pet gets the most out of their stay.

We can also try and make your dog or cat famous. If you would like to see pictures of your pet on Instagram and Facebook, just let us know and we will get the best pictures possible (photo quality may vary from a frame worthy photo to a happy fluffy blur racing by).
