We are a community.
We are united by the love of animals and the people who love them.
We are committed to advancing the profession of veterinary medicine and animal care.
In June of 2018, Bergen BARK Inn was acquired by National Veterinary Associates, a wonderful corporation out of California. NVA just started acquiring Pet Resorts around 2013. Our facility was one of quite a few new additions to NVA from across the United States in 2018. We are incredibly excited to be a part of such a caring and considerate family.
Don't worry though, we are still the exact same Bergen BARK Inn that you have grown to know and love. We like to joke that the Bergen BARK Inn is actually "Grandma's House," because we get to spoil the furbabies rotten and send them back home. Outside of our new requirement for the Canine Influenza Vaccination, everything is going to be the same. Our hope is to be able to continue improving the level of service that we offer our clients. We have access to quite a few new opportunities and we are very excited to see what the future has in store.
NVA is an amazing company that allows us to be part of a bigger family while still remaining who we are as a business. NVA said it best, "We are united by our love of animals and the people who love them." We love our furry clients and the people who love them and we want nothing more than to be able to provide only the highest quality of care.
While it was very sad to say goodbye to Doug and Becky Hill, we are excited to see what adventures we are going to have. Doug and Becky created everything for us here at the Bergen BARK Inn and we will be forever thankful for the effort they put in to make us as successful as we are today. We wanted to thank Doug and Becky for everything that they did for us. We miss you everyday, but we are so glad that you put in so much thought to leave us in such outstanding hands.
Please check out the NVA website to get a better understanding of who they are as a corporation. We are so proud to be a part of the NVA family and we would love it for you to get to know our new Parent Corporation and how amazing they truly are. If you have any questions at all about NVA, our transition to corporate ownership, what that means for you and your furry babies, or anything, feel free to ask our office staff or reach out directly to the General Manager, Maaike Teuling.
Thank you for your continued service and dedication to our business! Let us know how we can better cater to your pets.
