Welcome to BBI
Bergen BARK Inn offers all inclusive dog and cat boarding in Evergreen, Colorado. Bergen BARK Inn is owned and operated by Doug Hill, a licensed veterinarian and his wife Becky Hill. When you walk into the Inn, you feel more like you're walking into a living room then a kennel. You're greeted with a smile, and usually one of our "guests" acting as our "Office Assistant", and of course, Henry, our crazy kennel cat. Don't be offended if Henry rubs up against your leg, while giving your dog the "Cats Rule, Dogs Drool" look. He doesn't really mean it; he will make friends with your dog in no time.
One of the best things about the Inn is our size. It is so manageable! We have 28 large indoor kennels with runs, 16 quiet units in our Serenity Room for the smaller dogs, 2 beautiful suites for geriatric or special needs care and capacity for up to 8 cats. Even when we are full, our staff knows every dog and cat by name, knows their personalities, likes and dislikes!
Four to six times a day, your dog will be let outside in our large fenced in yard with all new K-9 grass where your dog can run, chase balls, jump, pounce and play with other furry pals in a supervised setting. Of course, elderly, shy, aggressive or unaltered dogs will by accommodated in other ways.
We recently added K-9 Field Turf to our outdoor playyard, the same stuff the Denver Broncos use! Not only is it cleaner, with its own drainage system, but it also has rubber infill which is easier on the dogs joints when they run, jump and play. Come check it out!!!
We feed a prescription diet for gastro-enteritis which is chicken and rice, easily digested to minimize diarrhea and prevent GI upsets. When necessary, we add Forti Flora which is a pro-biotic which contains active live cultures proven to promote a healthy immune system and intestinal health and balance.
After the evening outing, one of our caregivers will walk through to say a personal good night to each and every dog as they are tucked in with comfortable fleece and sheepskin beds, while night lights cast a soft glow throughout the kennel.
"We take the responsibility of caring for your pets very seriously." Our goal is to give you peace of mind by giving of ourselves; by giving that extra little bit of love and kindness, we enjoy our work more and hopefully make your pet's stay better and brighter.
